You might be wondering why I haven’t posted anything in two weeks. Nothing particularly tragic happened in my life to justify that absence, but something of the sort did happen to other people, and it affected me more than I thought it would. I couldn’t write before and, to be honest, I don’t feel that I can now. But, ok. Deep breath. My eyes were tightly closed while I felt the metallic rumble under my feet. A hundred thousand million people made this ascent before, I kept telling myself like a mantra while feeling a hysterical wave of panic trying to engulf my heart.
